Dr. Jenny Chou is a board certified ophthalmologist in her private practice in Sacramento, California. She was born in Taiwan and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas. After graduating from high school in Pittsburg, she attended University of California at Berkeley. She graduated double major with high honors in Integrative Biology and Psychology in 1999. She then received full scholarship from the United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program to study medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Chou completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. After her residency, she served at the Eglin Air Force Base as the Chief of Ophthalmology.
After serving eight years with the United States Air Force, she separated from the military to return home. Dr. Chou and her husband are now happily settled in Sacramento with their children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children.

We offer posterior segment photography of the retina and the optic nerve. We also offer computerized imaging in the form of ocular coherence tomography for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, vascular occlusion, and other diseases of the retina.
We have the newest visual field machine the Octopus 900 Pro which cuts down on the examination time. It shortens the amount of time spent in front of the visual field machine and saves valuable time for the patients.
